At Gold Funding we believe transparent handling of personal information is as important as providing a first-class proprietary-trading experience. This notice explains—plainly and in full—how ALFMNY MEDIA LTD (“Gold Funding”, “we”, “our” or “us”) collects, uses, protects and shares data relating to identifiable individuals (“you” or “your”). The policy complies with the UK GDPR, the EU GDPR, the Hong Kong Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance and any other local rules that apply wherever we operate.

1 Who we are and how to contact us

Gold Funding is a Hong Kong–registered company with its business address at Rm 409, Beverley Comm Centre, 87-105 Chatham Road South, Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong. We act as the controller of your personal data: we decide why and how the information is processed. All privacy enquiries—including requests to exercise any of the rights described below—may be directed to support@goldfunding.io, where they will be handled personally by our Director and Money-laundering Reporting Officer.

2 The information we collect

When you browse our website, open an account or take part in an evaluation, you inevitably share certain details with us. Most of those details come directly from you—your name and e-mail address as you register, identity documents when you complete our “Know Your Customer” check, or bank coordinates when you request a payout. Some information reaches us automatically through cookies and log files; for instance, your IP address, the type of device and browser you use, and the path you follow through our pages. Finally, a small but vital stream of data is provided by partners: our KYC supplier confirms the authenticity of your ID and screens you against sanctions lists, and the trading-platform provider sends us records of your simulated trades so we can evaluate your performance.

3 Why we use the data and on what legal grounds

We rely on several legal bases, always present and documented, for processing personal data. First and foremost, we must do so to perform the contract you enter into when you create an account: without your contact details, payment references and trade records we simply could not deliver the evaluation services you request. Certain laws—particularly anti-money-laundering and tax regulations—oblige us to verify identity, retain records for a defined period and in some circumstances disclose information to supervisory authorities. We also pursue legitimate interests: securing our platform, detecting fraud, analysing how customers use our website so we can make it faster and clearer, and sending occasional product updates to existing clients. Where neither contract, law nor legitimate interest applies (for example, when we place optional marketing cookies or invite you to receive a newsletter) we ask for your consent and honour your choice if you later withdraw it.

We do not subject customers to decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects; every funding decision involves human review.

4 Cookies and similar technologies

Gold Funding uses only as many cookies as are needed to run the site securely and understand, at an aggregate level, how visitors move through it. Essential cookies keep you logged-in and protect against cross-site forgery; analytics cookies—served by privacy-centred providers—give us anonymised statistics; marketing cookies are laid only if you say “yes” in our banner. 5 How long we keep your information

We hold personal data no longer than is strictly necessary. As a rule, data relating to your account and trades are retained while the account is active and for up to four years afterwards—the usual limitation period for civil claims—so that either side can defend its rights if a dispute arises. KYC documents must remain on file for five years after the relationship ends, in line with AML law. Support tickets are kept for two years, and records of your consent to marketing last for three years from your last interaction or until you opt out—whichever comes first. At the end of each retention period the information is securely erased or irreversibly anonymised.

6 How we protect the data

Security is woven into our infrastructure. All traffic between you and Gold Funding is encrypted using the latest protocols; data at rest in our cloud environment—hosted in private data centres globally—is encrypted and every employee accesses systems strictly on a need-to-know basis, under logging and multi-factor authentication. We run round-the-clock monitoring to detect anomalies and intrusions in real time. Every service provider that processes data for us is bound by a GDPR-compliant agreement and must meet equivalent technical standards.

7 When—and with whom—we share information

We share personal data only to the extent necessary to run our business and comply with the law. Payment processors and acquiring banks receive the information they need to collect your entry fee or remit a payout. Our KYC partner, SumSub, sees the documents you upload so it can verify them and perform sanctions screening. The licence holder of the trading platform receives your user identifier so that simulated positions opened in MetaTrader can be attributed to your evaluation. Beyond these categories, information is disclosed only to regulators, courts or law-enforcement bodies when we are legally required to do so.

8 Your rights and how to exercise them

You have the right to know whether we hold data about you and to receive a copy of those data in a structured, machine-readable format. You may ask us to correct anything that is inaccurate, to delete information that is no longer required, or to restrict processing under certain conditions. Where we rely on legitimate interests you can object, and we will cease processing unless we demonstrate compelling reasons that override your interests. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw consent at any time.

9 Changes to this policy

If we plan to change how personal information is used, we will publish the new version here and, where the change is significant, e-mail you in advance. The current policy is always available at goldfunding.io/privacy-policy.
